A discussion about plastic pollution, science and solutions.

International science writer and artist Erica Cirino has sailed across the most polluted part of the eastern Pacific Ocean, documented the most polluted beach in Hawaii, met with world-class scientists in Denmark and Western New York, visited some of the most degraded ecosystems in Asia and the Caribbean and the people working to clean them, and is now preparing to sail again with researchers off California. Her purpose: Find out the truths about plastic pollution and what it’s doing to the planet, wildlife and people. Erica shares her testimony during her presentation, "Exploring the Pacific Ocean and Beyond in Pursuit of Plastic," a part of her "Go and See Tour" project.

She is currently accepting new engagements. To request a presentation with Erica, please use the contact form below. Be sure to note the requested date of the presentation, as well as the general age of the audience.
